Music has no religion and border. Amanat Ali on saregamapa proved it. His renditions are soul-stirring and he is by far the most versatile singer on the show. His 'tujhse naaraaz nahin' left me poignant.
Tomorrow whatever the result may be, Amanat is the winner for me. Here is the video of his performance courtesy youtube.

I Can See Clearly Now !
I can see clearly now the rain is gone.
I can see all obstacles in my way.
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
bright (bright) sunshiny day.
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
bright (bright) sunshiny day.
Oh yes, I can make it now the pain is gone.
All of the bad feelings have disappeared.
Here is the rainbow I've been praying for.
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
bright (bright) sunshiny day.

Nostalgia - 1
Few months back while browsing channels I came across re-run of Malgudi Days on a Hindi channel. I was ecstatic. Immediately went through few Nostalgic moments with V and I put 'all episodes' on dvr. For few weeks I watched them with the same enthusiasm and then the episodes started getting deleted without viewing. This was the same show for which I waited all week when there were no daily soaps but weekly serials on Doordarshan. Many others who grew up in the 80s and 90s would agree with me on quality shows we had back then not like the quantity junk shown these days. But then why couldn't I contain the same enthusiasm?
Do we all change with time and yet cling on to reminiscence, assuring self that things were better back then than the present time?
Doordarshan, Malgudi Days,
R K Narayan

Why the title?
This is a clichéd first post on any blog, an explanation behind the title of the blog :). Well! My title as evident, is from my favorite poem 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening' by Robest Frost. I first read this poem probably in class 4 or 5 and it had stayed in my mind ever since. It seems so simple yet profound.
